Self-balancing scooters, also known as hoverboards, are no longer allowed as carry-on or checked luggage on a number of major U.S. airlines. The combustability of the board is at issue. Looks like we’ll have to wait a bit longer before we surf around like Marty McFly.

US Citizens have been placed on alert.
Of course, who hasn’t been talking about the State Department’s worldwide travel alert to US citizens following the November Paris attacks? The alert expires on February 24, 2016.
